The Telluride DUCK RACE is a local radio station (KOTO) fundraiser and is held on August 17, 2007: NOON: Get ready for the annual KOTO duck race in the San Miguel River. Ducks won't be on sale for a while and we haven't announced the prizes yet, but rest assured, you won't want to miss out!  970-728-4334  Ducks Sold at Pine & Colorado, "Non-profit sell you something table" as Ben Kerr of KOTO tells us.

Rubber Duckies are $10 each. 570 ducks and over 25 prizes

Race starts at town park bridge and ends at the Carhenge bridge.

Race takes about an hour.

First Duck to cross the finish line receives a Telluride Ski Resort Season Ski Pass, other prizes include Dollar one day Jeep Rental, New Sheridas Hotel Room night, Chair 8 Dinner certificate, Mtn Film Wilson Pass, Jazz Weekend Pass and more.
